Propel Marine has been working towards the goal of safer & more efficient ships.
When the shipping operations were unexpectedly disrupted at the onset of COVID-19, we realised the need to evolve the safety inspections process on board vessels, in order to eliminate the risk of transmission.
We have successfully carried out several SVI™, BSVI™, CSVI™ and TSVI™ on board remotely, using audio-visual aids from our offices. Our clients have been able to join in remotely from their local overseas offices to perform the best possible assessments of their multi-million-dollar assets.
We have developed training modules, platforms & programs to assist our clients with their international fleets; to optimise the standards onboard and carry out crew safety training on every call.
Propel Marine was one of the first companies in Australia to conduct Cargo Hold Inspections using GPS free- Gyro Stabilised Drones. The Drone technology expands the capability to inspect Enclosed Spaces, Hull Inspections, Draft Line Inspection and Vessel / Port Facility Mapping. Using the latest, most intuitive and precise Drones available on the market, Propel has pioneered the amalgamation of technology with traditional surveying practices. The cutting-edge Drone technology allows the flexibility and convenience to inspect the high areas in a vessel while ensuring the safety of the person conducting the inspection.
